Collection: Fluorite

Fluorite is calcium fluoride, famous among collectors for its glassy luster, cubic crystals, and a color range no other mineral matches. 22sGems specializes in the celebrated purple-and-gold "blurple" fluorites of the Illinois-Kentucky Fluorspar District (Denton, Minerva, and Annabel Lee mines) and the elite purple cubes with golden calcite of the Elmwood Mine in Tennessee. With the Illinois fluorspar mines long closed, every fine Denton or Minerva specimen on the market comes from old stock.
