BLUE & YELLOW FLUORITE INSANITY — MINERVA NO. 1 MAGIC!

BLUE & YELLOW FLUORITE INSANITY — MINERVA NO. 1 MAGIC!

Some fluorites are beautiful… and then there are pieces like THIS that are just on another LEVEL!

Straight from the legendary Minerva No. 1 Mine in Cave-in-Rock, Hardin County, Illinois, this absolute STUNNER is a perfect example of why Illinois fluorites have such a special place in my collection!

THE BLUE. THE YELLOW. THE ZONING. THE EVERYTHING!

Just LOOK at that incredible electric blue wrapping around those glowing golden-yellow interiors!

The way the natural sunlight penetrates this beauty, illuminating the dramatic color zoning and revealing those incredible internal geometric patterns, is simply RIDICULOUS!

And the crystal formation? WOW!

That bold, sculptural cubic architecture, gorgeous translucency, and intense contrast between the icy blues and warm honey-yellow tones create a combination that almost doesn’t look real.

LIKE A PIECE OF THE OCEAN WITH SUNSHINE TRAPPED INSIDE!

And knowing this beauty comes from the now-closed Minerva No. 1 Mine makes it even more special. These classic Illinois treasures aren’t being produced anymore, and finding exceptional examples is part of what makes the hunt so addictive!

Filmed right at my desk with the sunlight hitting just right… Mother Nature putting on another incredible show!
