Illinois fluorite at its finest

Illinois fluorite at its finest…

This stunning fluorite from the legendary Denton Mine absolutely comes alive under light. Rich, saturated purple and blue color floods the crystal, while intricate internal zoning and geometric growth patterns create a mesmerizing stained-glass effect that only the finest Southern Illinois fluorites can deliver.

The combination of transparency, color saturation, and sharp cubic architecture makes this a true collector’s piece. Backlit, every phantom, growth feature, and natural detail reveals itself—showcasing why Denton Mine fluorites remain among the most coveted American mineral classics decades after the mine’s closure.

Adding even more significance is the provenance, accompanied by its original Weinrich Minerals label.
