This incredible Fluorite from the Ice Cleft, Weisbeck Area, Muhr, Tamsweg District, Salzburg, Austria is one of those specimens.

The color is absolutely mesmerizing — saturated ocean-blue shifting into rich teal and green, combined with that insane stepped, architectural crystal growth. It almost looks engineered rather than grown by nature.

What makes it even more special is the locality. Austrian Alpine fluorites of this caliber are far less commonly encountered on the collector market than material from the major prolific fluorite districts, and finding a specimen with this combination of size, color, form, preservation and visual impact makes it something truly exceptional.

The deeper you look, the crazier the geometry becomes — layer upon layer of stepped growth, incredible texture and intense color. An absolute piece of Earth’s art.
