DENTON MINE PURPLE ON ANOTHER LEVEL.
What an absolute STUNNER.
An incredible cluster of richly saturated purple Fluorite cubes from the legendary Denton Mine, Cave-in-Rock, Illinois — loaded with beautiful Chalcopyrite and Calcite accents that give this piece insane contrast and character.
The fluorite is the star here — sharp, stacked cubes ranging from glowing violet to deep royal purple, with those little flashes of metallic Chalcopyrite and contrasting Calcite scattered throughout. Every angle has something going on.
And the provenance makes this one even more special. Ex. Harris Precht Jr. Collection No. 378, originally purchased from Neal Pfaff in July 1985, with the original collection label still accompanying the specimen. Nearly 41 years of documented mineral history.
