SWEET HOME COLOR COMBO MAGIC

SWEET HOME COLOR COMBO MAGIC

This is exactly why the Sweet Home Mine is legendary.

A gorgeous Rhodochrosite, Fluorite & Quartz combination from Alma, Colorado — highlighted by that bold, fiery red-orange Rhodochrosite crystal sitting proudly above the matrix.

Then you get those beautiful purple Fluorite cubes scattered around it, surrounded by glassy Quartz and contrasting dark matrix. The combination of colors is just ridiculous — red, purple, icy clear and metallic tones all packed into one killer specimen.

I absolutely love pieces like this where every mineral plays a part in the composition. The Rhodochrosite immediately grabs you, but the longer you look, the more details start revealing themselves.

A classic American locality producing Earth’s art at its finest.
