TRI-COLOR FLUORITE INSANITY FROM ILLINOIS!
THIS ONE IS AN ABSOLUTE COLOR EXPLOSION!
Straight from the legendary Denton Mine, Harris Creek District, Hardin County, Illinois!
JUST LOOK AT THESE COLORS!
Deep, saturated royal purple terminations
Glowing golden-yellow crystal interiors
Fiery orange and amber undertones
Incredible glassy luster and sharp cubic formations
Beautifully contrasting zones with chalcopyrite inclusions!
The way the sunlight passes through these cubes and lights up that golden interior beneath the intense purple is NOTHING SHORT OF MAGICAL!
PURPLE. GOLD. ORANGE. STRAIGHT-UP ILLINOIS FLUORITE ROYALTY!
And those dark chalcopyrite inclusions add another dimension of character to this already incredible specimen!
This is exactly why I love collecting fluorites from the historic Illinois mining district. The colors, the geometry, the history… IT NEVER GETS OLD!
NATURE REALLY OUTDID ITSELF ON THIS ONE!
