ANNABEL LEE BLUE & PURPLE BANGER
This is the kind of Illinois Fluorite that makes you understand immediately why the old Annabel Lee material is so legendary.
An absolutely killer miniature from the Annabel Lee Mine, Cave-in-Rock, Hardin County, Illinois — a stacked cluster of razor-sharp cubes exploding with electric blue and deep purple color. The contrast is ridiculous, with glassy faces, crisp edges and overlapping cubic architecture that gives this little powerhouse serious presence.
And the provenance takes it to another level.
Ex. Harris Precht Jr. Collection — No. 469
Original Precht collection label describes it as a miniature of blue crystals, purchased from Neal Pfaff in July 1986
Ex. Weinrich Minerals
Nearly 40 years of documented history behind an already exceptional Illinois classic.
