This one is an absolute COLOR BOMB from the legendary Minerva No. 1 Mine, Cave-in-Rock, Hardin County, Illinois.

Massive, sharply formed fluorite cubes explode with layers of deep royal purple, fiery orange-red, golden amber and flashes of pink. Put the light behind it and the internal zoning absolutely comes alive—every cube revealing another layer of color and geometry.

And the association makes it even better: Fluorite with Calcite, creating an incredible contrast against those intensely saturated cubes.
