This piece shows that classic Illinois color play collectors chase so hard… icy blue edges wrapping around rich lavender-purple zoning with unreal glow and transparency when backlit.

The stepped phantom-like internal structure and soft pastel saturation give it that unmistakable Minerva character, while the perched calcite crystals add the perfect natural contrast and balance to the composition.
