This Minerva No. 1 Mine fluorite is absolutely dripping with old-school Illinois magic…
Insane saturated blurple zoning wrapped around a glowing amber core, with sharp stepped cubic growth and that unmistakable Cave-In-Rock character collectors chase hard. The internal color play on this one shifts constantly in the light — electric violet edges fading into fiery golden honey tones from within. Pure eye candy.
Pieces from the legendary Minerva No. 1 Mine have become increasingly difficult to source in this quality, especially with this kind of contrast, translucency, and aesthetic structure intact. A true cabinet-level Illinois classic all day.
