CANDY COATED CONGO…
A wild collision of color and texture—this Cobalton Calcite from Moshamba West, Congo hits with that unmistakable saturated pink glow, wrapped in a sculptural overgrowth of dark, botryoidal kolwezite. The contrast is unreal… soft, luminous calcite meeting rugged, almost alien-looking formations that crawl across the surface like frozen motion.
That rich cobalt-bearing hue is what collectors chase—intense, electric, and completely natural. Paired with the sharp crystal form and this kind of dramatic association, it turns into something way beyond just color… it’s character.
Front and center, it demands attention from every angle. Sweet… but with an edge.
Calcite specimen.
