Color in motion… pure Brazilian magic

Color in motion… pure Brazilian magic

8.09 grams

Sitting at my desk, turning this Ouro Fino Mine rainbow tourmaline in the light… and it just keeps giving. Every angle unlocks a new combination—electric greens melting into sunset oranges, flashes of pink, hints of blue—like the entire spectrum got frozen inside a single crystal.

From Coronel Murta, Minas Gerais, this material represents one of the most important modern tourmaline discoveries. The 2020 Ouro Fino finds changed the game—producing elite, gem-quality crystals with insane color zoning, razor terminations, and that unmistakable glassy luster collectors chase.

What makes this one special is the balance… not just color, but harmony. No dead zones, no dull faces—just continuous saturation and life from every side. As it spins in the light, it feels alive… shifting, evolving, impossible to pin down.

High-end Brazilian tourmaline like this is getting harder to source—especially pieces that hit this level of aesthetics and presence.

A true desk-side obsession… and a serious collector’s piece.

Elbaite Tourmaline specimen from Minas Gerais, Brazil.
