Popularized in the 1990s, these highly sought-after, gemmy specimens frequently exhibit complex, tapered terminations and distinct color zoning.

Characteristics: Known for high clarity, glassy luster, and intense pleochroism (changing color when rotated 90 degrees).
Color & Zoning: Frequently found as bicolor or polychrome, with combinations of green-to-pink, or deep red-purple (rubellite) caps on lighter, gemmy bodies.
