ILLINOIS FLUORITE ROYALTY… MULTI COLOR BEAUTY AND A LEGENDARY PEDIGREE!

THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MONSTER!
Straight from the legendary Denton Mine, Ozark-Mahoning Company, Hardin County, Illinois, comes this extraordinary FLUORITE with CHALCOPYRITE — a breathtaking combination of saturated royal purple, glowing golden-yellow zoning, and brilliant metallic chalcopyrite crystals!
THE COLORS. THE ZONING. THE GEOMETRY. THE PROVENANCE!
Just LOOK at those incredible interlocking fluorite cubes! Deep violet-purple edges transition into rich honey-gold and amber interiors, creating an almost stained-glass effect when the light passes through!
And those tiny metallic chalcopyrite crystals scattered across the fluorite faces? ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!
The contrast between the glassy purple and golden fluorite and those sparkling brassy metallic crystals makes this specimen a true WORK OF ART!
But here’s where the story gets even better…
EX-R.S. DeMARK COLLECTION!
Accompanied by its original collection label and Weinrich Minerals documentation, this beauty carries an incredible piece of mineral collecting history!
The handwritten provenance notes record that the specimen was obtained in a trade from Ken Flood at the Keweenaw Gift Shop in Houghton, Michigan, in June 1987!
Nearly FOUR DECADES of documented collecting history!
That’s what makes provenance so special. You’re not simply acquiring an extraordinary crystal — you’re preserving the history of the people who recognized its beauty long before it reached your collection.
