MORNING SUNSHINE, A LITTLE DESK TIME, AND SOME ABSOLUTELY INSANE ETCHED UKRAINIAN HELIODORS!

Sometimes I sit down at my desk to get some work done… and then the sunlight hits these beauties, and suddenly NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!

Straight from the legendary Volyn Deposit, Khoroshiv, Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine , these extraordinary Heliodors are some of my favorite treasures in the world of fine minerals!

THE GOLDEN COLOR. THE ETCHINGS. THE TRANSPARENCY. THE CRYSTAL ARCHITECTURE!

Just LOOK at the incredible range of golden-yellow, honey, champagne, and subtle greenish-yellow tones!

And those ETCHINGS?!
