HERKIMER DIAMOND SCEPTER INSANITY… 500 MILLION YEARS OF EARTH’S HISTORY!
THIS ONE IS ABSOLUTELY NEXT LEVEL!
Straight from the legendary Herkimer Diamond region of NEW YORK comes this incredible HERKIMER DIAMOND SCEPTER ON MATRIX, loaded with spectacular BLACK ANTHRAXOLITE INCLUSIONS!
JUST LOOK AT THIS THING!
The dramatic scepter formation, glassy quartz termination, incredible contrast between the crystal clarity and jet-black inclusions, and that beautiful natural matrix make this specimen a true work of art!
BUT HERE’S WHAT MAKES IT EVEN CRAZIER!
Those intense black inclusions are ANTHRAXOLITE, a naturally occurring, hard, lustrous, carbon-rich hydrocarbon material derived from ancient organic matter!
We’re talking about organic material preserved within a geological system dating back roughly 500 MILLION YEARS!
Think about that for a second!
Ancient carbon-rich material locked inside one of nature’s most incredible quartz formations, creating a dramatic black-and-clear masterpiece!
THE CONTRAST IS INSANE!
THE SCEPTER FORM IS RIDICULOUS!
AND THE GEOLOGICAL HISTORY IS MIND-BLOWING!
This is exactly why I love mineral collecting. Every specimen tells a story, and some of those stories began hundreds of millions of years before we ever existed.
MOTHER NATURE IS THE ULTIMATE ARTIST!
THE HUNT NEVER STOPS!
