This 3.85 gram Rhodochrosite from the legendary N’Chwaning Mine, Kalahari Manganese Field, Northern Cape, South Africa absolutely lights up when you put some light behind it.
The saturation is incredible — fiery cherry-red with glowing orange-red interiors, beautiful translucency and a killer multi-crystal formation. The way the light travels through those crystals makes this miniature look like it’s illuminated from within.
