Another incredible Cobalt-Bearing Calcite from the Mashamba West–Dikuluwe Mine, DR Congo — but this one has a completely different personality.

Backlit, the crystal absolutely comes alive. That beautiful soft pink body suddenly explodes into intense lavender, magenta and electric pink, with incredible translucency and internal zoning running through the crystal. The contrast between the pale transparent areas and that saturated pink core is just mesmerizing.

There’s something almost ethereal about this one. It doesn’t just have color — it has depth, glow and character. Turn it in the light and you discover something new from every angle.

A true pink juice bomb, and easily one of the special pieces from this material. This is the kind of specimen that reminds me exactly why the hunt never stops.
