3 GRAMS OF SAPO MINE HISTORY
Tiny crystal. HUGE personality.
This incredible 3 gram blue-cap Tourmaline comes from the famous 1998 Sapo Mine discovery in Minas Gerais, Brazil—a find remembered for producing some seriously beautiful zoned tourmalines with those unmistakable electric-blue terminations.
And this little gem absolutely brings the heat.
A saturated green body transitions dramatically into that glowing blue cap, creating killer contrast in a beautifully proportioned crystal. Sharp form, strong color zoning and classic Sapo Mine character packed into just 3 grams.
Nearly three decades later, specimens from this legendary find have become increasingly difficult to track down—especially attractive examples that still carry the look that made the pocket so memorable.
Proof that a specimen doesn’t need to be big to have serious presence and history.
