An incredible 11.1 gram natural, unheated Tanzanite displaying that deep, electric blue collectors chase, with exceptional saturation, gemmy transparency and beautiful glassy luster.
And I love the small calcite association still attached to the crystal—a little piece of its natural Merelani story preserved right on the specimen.
Turn it in the light and that intense color just takes over. This is exactly why natural, unheated Tanzanite continues to be one of my favorite minerals on Earth.
