LAKE BAIKAL DT APATITE COLOR MAGIC

LAKE BAIKAL APATITE COLOR MAGIC

This 20.66 gram Apatite from the Lake Baikal region of Siberia, Russia is absolutely mesmerizing—and watching the color transform through a polarized lens takes it to another level.

The crystal already carries that incredible saturated electric blue, but rotate the polarized lens and completely different tones begin to reveal themselves—shifting through intense blue, teal and green depending on the orientation.

It’s such a killer way to show how light interacts with a crystal. What looks like one color suddenly becomes an entirely different visual experience as the polarization changes.

At 20.66 grams, with this kind of saturation, transparency and electric color response, this Siberian beauty is a serious little collector gem.

Sometimes you don’t need to change the crystal… you just need to change the way the light reaches your eyes.
