OPTICAL CALCITE PERFECTION FROM ZHEJIANG, CHINA

OPTICAL CALCITE PERFECTION FROM ZHEJIANG, CHINA.

Three absolute stunners showing just how incredible optical-clear Calcite can be. The clarity on these is next level—water-clear crystals with sharp form, beautiful internal details, and flashes of rainbow that explode when the light hits at the right angle.

Several of these pieces also feature dark manganese mineralization, creating an insane black-and-clear contrast inside and across the crystals. From one angle they look like pure glass… turn them slightly and the inclusions, reflections, and rainbow flashes completely transform the specimens.

Clean. Optical. Aesthetic. And absolutely mesmerizing in person.

Nature’s art with serious clarity.
