The color is unreal… deep electric cobalt melting into rich violet flashes with every slight turn. Untreated, unheated, and loaded with that legendary pleochroic character that makes fine Tanzanite one of the most captivating minerals on Earth.

Moments like this are exactly why I collect. Taking a world-class crystal out into the real world and watching it come alive in completely different settings never gets old.
