An absolute next-level Streep Mine masterpiece

An absolute next-level Streep Mine masterpiece.

This extraordinary smoky amethyst on matrix from the legendary Streep Mine, Goboboseb Mountains, Namibia, checks every box. Saturated smoky-purple color, razor-sharp crystal form, and a dramatic coating of rich red hematite create a specimen with incredible depth, contrast, and personality.

The deep smoky tones transition beautifully into amethyst hues, while the hematite adds fiery accents that make every face come alive in the light. Perched naturally on matrix, the composition is exceptionally aesthetic—one of those pieces that instantly captures your attention and keeps revealing new details the longer you study it.

Streep Mine continues to produce some of the world’s finest quartz, but specimens combining elite color, pristine aesthetics, matrix, and hematite at this level are becoming increasingly difficult to acquire.

A true collector-grade Namibian treasure… the kind of specimen that reminds me why the hunt never stops.
