Minerva No. 1 perfection

Minerva No. 1 perfection.

Some fluorites don’t need an introduction… they just stop you in your tracks.

This super glassy specimen from the legendary Minerva No. 1 Mine in Cave-in-Rock, Illinois showcases razor-sharp cubic architecture, exceptional transparency, and that unmistakable blend of electric violet and icy blue that has made Illinois fluorite legendary among collectors.

As the light moves through the crystal, hidden zoning and internal landscapes come alive, revealing new layers of depth from every angle. It’s the kind of specimen that keeps drawing you back for one more look.

With the Minerva No. 1 Mine long closed, collector-grade examples with this level of glassiness, color, and definition are becoming increasingly difficult to acquire.

Available with its custom base.
