Rosiclare-level eye candy…
This Annabel Lee Mine fluorite is everything collectors love about classic Southern Illinois material packed into one compact display piece. Deep saturated purple cubes with glowing internal zoning, paired with sharp honey-colored calcite crystals that create unreal contrast from every angle.
The translucency on the fluorite is wild in hand — rich grape-purple edges fading into warm amber and smoky phantom-like interiors depending on how the light hits it. Add the stacked cubic growth, glassy luster, and those sculptural calcites perched perfectly across the face, and it becomes one of those specimens that feels much larger than it is.
From the legendary Annabel Lee Mine, Harris Creek District, Hardin County, Illinois — one of the iconic localities from the world-famous Illinois-Kentucky Fluorspar District known for producing some of the finest fluorites ever mined in the United States.
Classic Illinois perfection with serious old-school collector vibes.
