Deep, saturated violet fluorite w blue from the legendary Annabel Lee Mine in the Harris Creek Mining Sub-District—and this one hits with serious presence. Rich purple tones dominate the plate with that classic Illinois zoning, showing subtle internal structure and those crisp, interlocking cubic faces collectors chase.
What takes it over the top… the contrast. A beautiful cluster of white calcite perched right on the edge, adding texture, dimension, and that perfect natural balance against the glassy fluorite. Backlit, the piece absolutely glows—lighting up with that signature Cave-in-Rock energy.
Annabel Lee is known for producing some of the most aesthetically pleasing fluorites in the district, and pieces with this kind of color, structure, and association are getting harder to come by.
