A TRUE DENTON CLASSIC

From the legendary Denton Mine in the world-renowned Cave-in-Rock District, this miniature fluorite is a perfect example of why this locality remains a cornerstone for serious collectors.

At its core sits a dominant ~4 cm sunshine-yellow cube — clean, bold, and commanding — but what truly elevates this piece is the incredible overgrowth. A series of smaller, purple-rimmed cubes cascade across the surface in a near tessellated pattern, creating a layered, architectural look that feels both natural and intentional. These overgrowths bring depth, contrast, and movement, transforming a classic form into something far more dynamic and visually engaging.

The condition is excellent with no recorded repairs, and the specimen carries significant pedigree — featured in Collector’s Guide to Fluorite and coming ex. Arvid Pasto collection (AEP796). Pieces with both aesthetic appeal and documented history like this are becoming increasingly scarce.

This is Denton Mine fluorite at its finest — classic structure, elevated character, and undeniable collector appeal. ize: 46 x 55 x 40 mm Weight: 130 g Acquired from
