Sun-kissed perfection… this Ukrainian Heliodor is an absolute stunner. The crystal is alive with wild, intricate natural etchings that look almost sculpted by light itself, giving the surface an incredible “windowed” texture collectors love. At 35.6 grams, it’s a beautiful size with that classic glowing golden color that makes heliodor from this region so legendary.
Heliodor—often called the “gift of the sun”—is the golden variety of beryl, and the material from the Volyn pegmatites near Khoroshiv, Ukraine is considered some of the finest ever discovered. These crystals are famous for their radiant yellow to greenish-gold tones, exceptional clarity, and dramatic natural etching created during the final stages of crystal growth deep within pegmatite pockets.
Pieces like this are becoming increasingly difficult to find today as many of the historic deposits are long dormant. For collectors of fine minerals, Ukrainian heliodor represents a true classic locality with unmistakable character and beauty.
35.6 grams of pure golden crystal magic.
